What is chair yoga? Chair yoga is a gentle practice in which postures are performed while seated and using a chair.Discover chair yoga and modify the poses to suit your needs.
How a Class Works: A typical chair yoga session begins with a gentle warm-up to prepare the body for the movements ahead. Then, you alternate appropriate movements and stretches, focusing on posture, breathing and relaxation. The postures are designed to improve flexibility, muscle strength and stability.
How to Participate: Registration is required. Limited places.
Equipment: You are asked to arrive 10 minutes before class starts. Bring a bottle of water and comfortable shoes. A yoga mat is not obligatory, but you can bring it.
