Dietitians are nutrition experts who use scientific information to help people understand the connection between food and health. Your dietitian will consider your medical history, culture, lifestyle, preferences, and goals to provide you with personalized, practical advice. Dietitians support people at different stages of life, such as babies and seniors, so they can improve or maintain their health and wellbeing.

  • Reason for referral or diagnosis
  • Preferred language for services
  • Name, contact information, and OHIP number
  • Recent lab test results

Group sessions

Craving Change®

Craving Change® is a program for people who struggle with their eating habits. It will help you:

Understand why you eat the way you do. Learn how your eating decisions are influenced by your surroundings, your body and what you learned while growing up.

  • Become more aware of your problematic eating triggers. Tune into your thoughts and emotions that steer you off track.
  • Use 16 ‘change and maintain’ strategies and resources to change your eating for good.
  • Have a healthier relationship with food!

Duration: 6 weeks (1 session per week)

Food for a healthy heart

This workshop will improve your knowledge of healthy eating to help you reduce your risk of heart and circulatory disease. You will learn more about the dietary factors involved, the best food and meal choices, and how to read labels.

Feeding your baby

Is your baby ready to eat complementary (solid) foods? Where do you start?

In this workshop, you will receive the most up-to-date information and answers to your questions about feeding your baby.

  • Language: French or English

Feeding your child (ages 1 to 6)

During this workshop, you will learn about the types of foods and beverages to prioritize and receive practical tips for promoting healthy eating in children aged 1 to 6.

You will also have the opportunity to discuss your questions about feeding your young child.
