Lung Health Program

The Lung Health Program is offered by a respiratory therapist in partnership with the Somerset West Community Health Centre. Services are aimed at people with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and asthma, and those with complex respiratory care needs.

The program includes assessment, spirometry (breathing test), education, action plan development, and follow-up care to improve quality of life and help individuals better understand and manage their symptoms and disease.

General Information

  • Services in English and French.  COPD education and spirometry testing for COPD screening.
  • Appointments by phone or in person in Bourget, Crysler, Embrun, and Limoges.

Eligibilty

Services are available to individuals who have a doctor or nurse practitioner at the CSCE.

To access services

  • A referral must be made by your doctor or nurse practitioner. If you do not have a doctor or nurse practitioner, call 613-238-3722 (toll-free 1-833-338-3722).
