Living a Healthy Life with Chronic Pain 

Program offered in collaboration with Living Healthy Champlain.

This six-week program is designed for anyone suffering from pain of any kind: lower back pain, pain resulting from motor vehicle accidents, arthritis, and fibromyalgia.

People can register for a workshop without going through a health care professional.

To participate, you must register on the Living Healthy Champlain website.

Progress Over Pain

Program offered in collaboration with Living Healthy Champlain.

This six-week online program focuses on self-management for people living with chronic pain. Over the six weeks, different topics will be covered that relate to chronic pain, including the science of chronic pain, stress, sleep, goal setting, communication and engaging in meaningful activity.

Sessions are approached using principles of self-management, cognitive behavioural therapy and mindfulness.

Participation is interactive during sessions, and self-reflective activities will be provided to complete between sessions.

Low Back Pain Program

The program offers chiropractic services for the treatment of low back pain. It helps people with back pain return to their normal lives and continue their activities.

Services

Chiropractic treatment consists of the following:

  • An assessment to determine whether the problem is related to the muscles or joints, or whether it is caused by another health problem. A referral to a physician or other health care professional can be made if necessary.
  • Personalized treatment of the vertebrae, muscles, and other affected structures.
  • Exercises and recommendations to promote the fastest possible recovery.
