Volunteers are key to the success of the CSCE. Their talent and the time and energy they invest in their role as volunteers enrich the work that we do.
We want all our volunteers to have a positive experience at the CSCE. It is important that every volunteer feels valued and has the opportunity to develop skills while contributing to the wellbeing of the community.
We encourage you to apply to become a volunteer!
There are several opportunities for volunteering at the CSCE, including the following programs and activities :
You can also ask for a copy at the CSCE front desk.
Once you have completed and handed your form to the CSCE, the individuals in charge of the volunteer program will review your application. If a volunteer opportunity arises and your application meets the requirements, a member from the volunteer program will contact you.
If you are asked to come in for an interview, our staff will take this opportunity to ask you about your personal interests and you will be able to find out more about the CSCE and the proposed tasks. All volunteers are required to attend an orientation session.
If no volunteer position is available, we will keep your application on file.
Volunteers must feel comfortable communicating mainly in French, they must provide the contact information for two persons of reference and they must undergo a free police record check.
As a new volunteer, you will receive appropriate training and will have the opportunity to make and receive comments about your work.
